On this day I…

I’ve been inspired to start cold showers again and Wim Hof breathing. Sure I’ve been doing it every once in a while, but now I want to make it part of my daily/weekly routine.

It’s 13:37. The books are read. Been out for two walks, one weighted. And my workout is complete.

So far today I’ve burnt 1,153 calories. Walked 11,041 steps, in 5.5 miles.

And that’s just in my daily life with two short (20-30) minute walks.

How did I get so much done today?

Which, to be honest, is a good thing because I want to add something else to my daily/weekly routine.

I want to get started on the book.

Okay, sure I’ve been up for seven and a half hours. And I don’t usually switch on the TV or look at social media until 3 or 4 o’clock.

Maybe it’s because recently I’ve listened to, Atomic Habits - The Comfort Crisis - The Wim Hof Method.

Can I keep this up?

Below are two screen caps of my Apple watch (Yes i have one).

The first one shows you that I got 3 hours and 1 minute of exercise today.

The second shows that, according to my watch, I burned through 1,413 (I’ma try and make it an even 1,500 before bed) calories. That’s 1,413 on top of the 1,800 my body will eat anyway. 3,213 calories burned in one day. Probably the most I'll burn.

I’m no expert in calorie burning but I think that’s how it works.

And I haven’t eaten anywhere near that many calories today. Protein, is all good, I ate 175g (I weighed in at 164 this morning). So I should be in a deficit.

I have a little, stubborn belly fat to get rid of.

My maths is probably all wrong on the calories counter, if so let me know in the comments.

Otherwise, I feel great.
