The Wednesday Project
On this day I…
Here we go again.
Again…
This seems to be a recurring theme here but I need this to work so I’ll keep going until it does, making small changes until everything falls into place.
Or when enough falls into place that it doesn’t derail. I NEED this to work.
Trying and failing is fine, it happens. But failing and giving up is the only true failure. I’ve made some changes to the way I’ll be doing things based on my past fuck ups.
So, The Wednesday Project started on Monday. It consists of physical and academic training, more on that here. This is week 3 of the gym phase, and I am working to lift half my body weight by the end of next week.
I haven't been to a gym and properly lifted in years;
Week 1, taught me that I wasn't as strong as I thought.
Week 2, after finally recovering from week 1, I went light and did more reps.
Week 3, this week, I already beat my target for next week on 5 of the 6 lifts, most were at half my body weight plus 10kg. So I'm way ahead of where I thought I'd be.
The goal is to lift my body weight (as it was 2 weeks ago) of 73kg or 162lbs.
Then I spend the next 9 months progressing to lift 1.5 times my weight. More on that later.
So we’re clear my ideal weight is 14 st. 89kg. 196 lbs.
The academic phase of all this started slow and I expect it’ll continue that way for a while. Book learning is a slow road to knowledge. But then I’ve given myself 3 years, 1031 days as of writing this, the link above has a countdown to 16th July 2027.
My 50th

I’ve recently quit my job of three and a half years as a Bartender/Manager. Photography began as a hobby and quickly became a passion.
I’m a Professional Photographer, Filmmaker, Writer/Author and this website is where I’m going to document all of it. The good, the bad and the ugly.
