On this day I…
Waking up earlier is so much easier when I don’t have to get up early because I want to get shit done before going to work.
But also, I’ve found getting up early is easy if you have a reason.
Ever notice if you wake up late, for work, an appointment etc, you can go from early morning discombobulation to special forces alert in 0.68 seconds.
So, daily reads are all done and now I’m writing this thing, why? Because I decided to do this every day I’m not working at the Bar.
I’ll either write this blog post before the day has gotten underway or an hour before going to bed. Or both…
I kinda just jump into it when I can, or if I get bored.
So, as I said, daily reading is done for now. I still have some shit I want to read today but that can wait until a little later. I have other shit to do.
I need to mow the lawn for one, come up with a workout plan (a la Bruce Lee) a new dietary plan, back to keto, but with slightly higher carbs due to the workouts.
When mowing a lawn;
Start with a strimmer and go around the outside. You Americans call it a Weed Wacker. This creates a border that looks good and creates an edge that your mower can not. Then, with your lawn mower, go around the outside to widen that border.
These first two jobs should be done properly. By that I mean take your time to get it right.
Now, pick a corner and walk (towards if facing the house or away if not) in as straight a line as you can. Turn and overlap the mower with the previous line and go again. Keep doing this until the lawn is cut.
Depending on the start length of the grass, you may need to do this again. Or if you fucked up and one of your mow lines is crooked.
Before I sat down to write this thing I ordered a new barbell and 40kg of weights from Amazon. I have no interest in getting JACKED!
I want to remain lean, but muscular. Average size, but strong. Fast, flexible, and functional.
I also want to set this up so I can do it three times a week and get it all done in no more than 45 minutes. Preferably less.
I’m a Professional Photographer who dabbles in Writing and Documentary Film Making.
I’ve recently quit my job of three and a half years as a Bartender/Manager. Photography began as a hobby and quickly became a passion.
I’m a Professional Photographer, Filmmaker, Writer/Author and this website is where I’m going to document all of it. The good, the bad and the ugly.
