Why am I not making videos for YouTube?

I mean I could come up with a few reasons but they’d all be pointless excuses that ultimately, it just comes down to fear.

I hate that.

The one reason that pops up in my head the most is my environment. The household I occupy. It’s not conducive to filming videos without attracting weird looks.

Should I care about getting weird looks in this day and age of video making? No.

Do I care about getting weird looks? Yes.

But I think that has more to do with the people I live with. I’m more than happy to film outside.

Or maybe I just need to schedule it into my week.

Fact is, I do want to start putting videos on YouTube that are relevant to the blogs I post each Friday.

So, frankly the idea and “script” are already done. I could use that blog post, make some changes, create a shot list, shoot the video and edit it all over a few days (Mon-Wed).

I have high-end equipment, cameras, mics, filters, editing software

I don’t have any real excuse to Not do it, frankly, so I guess it does just come down to fear.

I made a video today. It’s not great, a bit meandering, and not exactly the look I want, but it’s a start. And I hope it’ll kick start a weekly video.

It’ll be live tomorrow at 14:00
